The Chamber’s largest and most anticipated business event of the year, the Annual Meeting, celebrated the Chamber’s rich 151-year history, the economic development milestones of the year, and the installation of the new Chairman at the Renaissance Montgomery.

The Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce hosted their MACC 2023 Giving Luncheon honoring the Azalea Training Center for their wonderful work with adult individuals with special needs.

The Montgomery Chamber hosted a briefing on China, great power competition and the national security environment from Maj. Gen. Parker Wright, Commander of the LeMay Center and Deputy Commander of Air University and Dr. Brendan Mulvaney, Director of the China Aerospace Studies Institute at National Defense University, as part of our Washington Brief series.

The Montgomery Regional Airport sponsored the Montgomery Chamber’s December 60-Minute Coffee. These events provide the best way to begin your workday—with an hour of coffee and networking.

Dr. James Locke, Department Chair at Auburn University of Montgomery presented on the impact of artificial intelligence on businesses. Dr. Locke shared his wealth of expertise in the trends and impacts that AI is having on businesses globally, nationally and locally. The audience learned ways businesses can prepare and/or adjust to leverage the great capabilities and efficiencies seen by using AI but also ways to protect themselves.

The Chamber invited business and community leaders to join regional and state elected cabinet-level officials for conversation and coffee. Attendees were able to meet, engage and connect with city and county leaders, legislators, state officials, congressional staff, education leaders and other key players.

Prattville Chamber hosted one of their Coffee Connection events and provided guests with an excellent networking opportunity and the chance to meet people representing products and services in a relaxed, social setting.

For more than 10 years, the Saturday following Thanksgiving, the Prattville Chamber hosts Small Business Saturday® to support local businesses and encourage the community to get out and shop small.

Every year since 1982, the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce honors the rich agricultural heritage of the Prattville and Autauga County area with their Annual Farm City Banquet. Attendees enjoyed an evening of community fellowship over a steak dinner with awards honoring the business leader of the year, the farmer of the year, and recognition of the student winners for the Farm City Week poster, essay, and video contests.

The November Prattville Chamber Luncheon was sponsored by ServPro at the Catfish House. Attendees were able to gain a little knowledge while building connections with other business leaders in the area.
