The Chamber welcomed U.S. Senator Katie Britt as part of the Washington Brief series. Senator Britt provided an update about ongoing congressional activity, the outlook for the remainder of the year and key updates about federal priorities as they impact our region.

The Montgomery Chamber hosted their popular after-work networking event at the Lakeview Center. Sponsored by Goodwyn Mills Cawood and Gilpin Givhan, this event was the perfect place to connect with other members and meet potential customers.

Leadership Montgomery hosted a community-wide ceremony held at the Wynlakes Golf & Country Club where they presented awards to local organizations and leaders for outstanding community involvement, including the Unity Award.

The LAB on Dexter hosted a fall edition of their Strong Coffee Strong Women event at Baristas and Barristers joined by Monica Whiting, founder of Baristas and Barristers and The Whiting Law Group. At Strong Coffee Strong Women, successful women share their shot of inspirational stories.

Synovus hosted the Prattville Chamber Business Mixer at the Buena Vista Mansion. Attendees networked with other members and community leaders while enjoying great food from Longhorn Steakhouse.

Prattville’s October Chamber Luncheon was sponsored by Jackson Thornton and offered a great opportunity to connect with other business leaders in the area while gaining a little knowledge and building connections.

The Montgomery Chamber’s October 60-Minute Coffee was hosted by Meals on Wheels Montgomery AL Metro Area. These events always provide the perfect opportunity for attendees to start their morning off right with networking and coffee.

The Chamber welcomed Lt. Gen. Andrea D. Tullos, Commander and President, Air University, MAFB, as part of the Washington Brief series. Gen. Tullos provided a Military Community Update to inform community members about Air University’s roles, responsibilities and issues that impact the Montgomery-River Region.

PRCA Montgomery hosted one-day professional development workshop for professionals and students in public relations, communications, marketing and related fields. There was a dynamic lineup of speakers who shared how to THRIVE in various areas of personal and professional lives.

The Wetumpka Chamber hosted a refreshing morning of networking, coffee, and engaging conversations at the Elmore County Technical Center.
