Coffee Connections held by the Prattville Area Chamber of Commerce is a great way for people to jump-start their day with coffee and networking. Individuals had the opportunity to bring business cards to share with other members and to register for door prizes!

The Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce hosted their quarterly chamber orientation for individuals to have the opportunity to learn about membership benefits and initiatives from staff members. The orientation offers ideas and new opportunities.

The Montgomery Chamber of Commerce hosted Business After Hours at the Montgomery Regional Airport for individuals to stop by after work to network and connect with members. People were also urged to bring business cards to help build a customer base with potential clients.

Troy University Montgomery hosted the Alabama Women’s Commission’s Rise and Thrive 2024 Impact Conference with keynote speaker, Liz Huntley, and panelists Elizabeth Filmore, Helena Duncan and Mary Helmer Wirth. Women got to hear about topics like women’s resilience in Alabama and more!

BWS Technologies hosted their Coffee Connections event for individuals to network with others to start off the day. People were encouraged to bring business cards to share with others while also grabbing a cup of coffee. People also got to register to win door prizes and learned about what BWS Technologies has to offer!

The Prattville Chamber’s A+ Banquet was hosted by the Autauga Education Foundation to honor Autauga County educators. Auburn Coach Hugh Freeze and Prattville’s own John David Jones joined the event to emphasize the importance of education in the community.

Thanks to the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce, hundreds of people had the chance to watch the official kickoff of the Beyond the Horizon Air & Space Show at Montgomery Whitewater Park. The airshow occurred the following weekend featuring the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels and several military and civilian aircraft demonstration teams.

The recipients of the awards exemplified high quality characteristics that have strengthened the community through education and business.

Congressman Mike Rogers spoke on ongoing congressional activity for the Washington Brief Series. Congressman Rogers spoke on topics such as the outlook for the rest of the year, updates about federal priorities and more.

The Governmental Affairs Council hosted the 2nd Congressional Primary Run-Off Candidates to speak about their policies and vision for the district at their Coffee & Conversations event . Locals ranging from “political enthusiast” to “new to politics” listened to each candidate while enjoying some coffee.

CentrAL INC hosted a launch party at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival for the release of the May 2024 issue highlighting the 7 Over 70 feature. Seven individuals were celebrated for making a lasting impact on the community through their wisdom and dedication as business veterans.
