Brittany and Eric Batrez are partners in Absolute Termite & Pest Control, a company they have been working together to grow since Brittany joined Eric in 2013.
They offer a variety of termite and pest control services and work as a team with individual roles and shared goals, finding success and satisfaction in their partnership.
How It Started
Brittany: Eric started Absolute Termite and Pest Control in 2006. He wanted a change from his corporate job and was looking to do something new.
How It’s Going
Brittany: I joined Eric in 2013. We have continued to work alongside each other ever since to help Absolute Termite continue to grow. We offer wood infestation reports for real estate closings, preventative termite treatments with bonds, active termite infestation eradication with bonds, general pest control for residential and commercial customers, bed bug treatments, rodent eradication, rodent exclusions and more.
Making It Work
Brittany: We each have job duties and roles that we are responsible for, with the understanding that we have each other’s backs if needed. We are here to help each other. We also have the same goals for Absolute Termite. Keeping those goals in the forefront, while we each work hard to fulfill our individual roles, has helped us work together as a team.
Eric: It can be hard at times to “turn work off” in our personal time, especially when things are really busy. Date nights where we do not talk about work help. Also, we try to carve out certain times to discuss important business decisions during the workday, so those conversations don’t take place at home.
Success & Satisfaction
Brittany: Working together, while tough at times, has strengthened our relationship. It has also given us flexibility that allows us to stay active with our two young boys.
