HOW DID PEST PRO START?
We started Pest Pro in October of 2020 with only Jacob, Zack, and myself. I am lucky to have not one, but two people who know how to handle things exactly the way I would. We put our heads down and worked day in and day out to achieve our goals.
WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT?
We are the only full-service pest service company in the River Region to offer the Termidor HP II Injection System, offering the latest technology and the best product available for termite treatments. The injection system uses Bluetooth technology to maintain a record of the home’s treatment details. We no longer have to trench or drill your home, and landscaping is minimally disturbed.
HOW HAS BUSINESS BEEN?
We have been extremely blessed with our business and the community’s support. As of today, we have 10 full-time employees, four pest control routes, three certified inspectors, and some of the most knowledgeable people in the industry. In the past two years, we were awarded Affiliate of the Year by the Montgomery Area Association of Realtors, Ambassador of the Year and Small Business of the Year by the Millbrook Area Chamber of Commerce, and we were nominated for Small Business of the Year for the State of Alabama.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE THE MOST?
We have a team in place that believes in what we are doing — not just service-wise, but also in being involved and serving our community. When I started PestPro, I made a commitment we would give back and be involved in our community. I am chair for the Millbrook Chamber Junior Ambassador Program. We sponsor youth sports, breakfasts for students, and participate in local festivals and parades. And each spring, we award the PestPro Player of the Week to one Varsity baseball player and one Varsity softball player.
WHAT’S THE SECRET TO YOUR SUCCESS?
Consistency and discipline. Show up every day and do the work, even when it gets hard. And, make sure you are building leaders around you. The more leaders in the room, the better. Always be willing to adapt to change, everything is constantly changing, and you have to be willing to adapt as a person and as a business.
