Q&A

How did Froggy Bottom start?

Froggy Bottom’s name was derived from its original location next to Froggy Bottom Pond. The business began as a materials supplier for sand, gravel and topsoil. With our green dump trucks running the roads delivering sand, gravel and the highly sought after “Super Soil”, Froggy Bottom quickly became a household name in the Montgomery area. We now offer natural stone products like boulders and flagstone, roll-off dumpster services, and full-service landscape and irrigation installation. Whether you’re a do-it-yourselfer or looking for full service professional landscape installation, we have the materials and services to make your dream yard a reality.

What makes you stand out?

We provide all types of services for the DIYers, full-service landscapers and residential homeowners. We provide dumpsters, same day deliveries, consultations, landscaping, draining issue repairs, various hardscape material, soils, sand, gravel, bed fillers and so much more. We also worked hand-in-hand with the Pike Road schools to build their outdoor basketball, soccer, baseball and warning track.

What’s your secret to success?

Supersoil…Seriously, ask around. The true secret is we always try to do the right thing. We strive to excel at customer service and providing top quality products in a timely manner. We are aware of the blessings God has given us, so we try to be a blessing to others we come in contact with through our day. We specifically value our employees and are proud of the family environment we have here. Relationship building has been our owner’s business model for years, and we plan to continue building relationships each day.

What do you love the most?

We are a TRUE family-owned business. We all attend each other’s special moments whether it is a baby shower, baseball game, holiday get togethers or just your average Saturday cookout. We all work alongside each other regardless of job title, helping to make sure the customers’ needs are met with superb expectations.

What’s on the horizon?

Our showroom is currently under construction to provide quality outdoor patio furniture such as tables, Adirondack chairs, rocking chairs, umbrellas, outdoor rugs, and grills. We are also adding an outdoor garden center that will carry all your seasonal annuals, perennials, and shrubbery year-round. Big things are happening at the FROG.
