The Council on Substance Abuse (COSA) is observing Mental Health Awareness Month. Established in 1949, Mental Health Awareness Month is observed annually in May to increase awareness about the vital role mental health plays in our overall health and well-being and provide resources and information to support individuals and communities who may need mental health support.
Using this year’s theme, “Supportive families, communities, and resources can help youth build strong foundations for lifelong well-being,” COSA is inviting all middle and high school students and athletes to join us during a FREE 30-minute virtual ZOOM presentation, to promote mental health wellness among youth.
