Baptist Medical Center South, the largest healthcare facility in Central Alabama and the region’s only designated trauma center, is proud to announce the completion of its enhanced Emergency Department expansion. This major improvement project increases treatment capacity and brings state-of-the-art emergency care resources to meet the growing needs of patients from across the 17-county service area.
