MONTGOMERY, AL — The City of Montgomery invites residents and visitors from across the River Region to celebrate the magic of the season at the 2025 Capital City Christmas Parade on Friday, December 12, 2025, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the heart of downtown Montgomery.
This beloved holiday tradition will once again light up historic Dexter Avenue, beginning at Lower Dexter Park, located at 29 Dexter Ave., Montgomery, Alabama 36104. The parade will feature festive floats, marching bands, dance groups, local organizations, and a special appearance by Santa Claus. WSFA will provide live broadcast coverage, bringing the excitement of the parade into homes across the region.
The Capital City Christmas Parade is one of Montgomery’s most cherished holiday celebrations,” said Mayor Steven L. Reed. “It’s a time for families, neighbors, and visitors to come together and experience the spirit of joy and unity that defines our community. We look forward to welcoming everyone downtown for a magical evening on historic Dexter Avenue.”
