MONTGOMERY, Ala. — If you’ve driven along I-65N through Prattville recently, you may have noticed a new development to the left. Guardian Credit Union is proud to announce this site as the future location of its first official headquarters. Construction is underway on the new, 57,000 sq. ft. facility which will exist to accommodate Guardian’s continued growth and expanding geographical footprint, as well as strengthen its collaborative internal culture.
“With four back-office facilities currently spread across Montgomery and Autauga County, this new home will bring our administrative and operational teams under one roof,” says Guardian Credit Union CEO Heath Harrell, “creating a headquarters that provides a unique work experience for the Guardian team and allowing us to function with greater collaboration and agility as we strive to provide our members with excellent financial opportunities and unmatched service.”
With the rapid socioeconomic growth and development taking place in Prattville, and the convenient proximity to their existing footprint, Guardian looks forward to the future in its new Prattville home. While this expansion will immediately bring more than 100 jobs to the Prattville community, it will provide a space where future growth is possible and anticipated.
Having a strong commitment to supporting the local community, Guardian has partnered with two Alabama-based companies to bring this project to life. Foshee Architecture is responsible for the plan concept and design, and Russell Construction will complete the construction of the facility.
The Guardian Headquarters comes as an addition to the current 16 branch locations throughout the state of Alabama that will remain open for business as usual.
