Montgomery, Ala. – November 12, 2024 – Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama (HMMA) and its approximately 4,200 team members have demonstrated their generosity once again by donating to the United Ways of Alabama in HMMA’s largest United Way donation to date.
On November 12, 2024, representatives from United Way offices throughout the River Region gathered at HMMA to learn the results of the company’s 2024 campaign. This year, HMMA team members personally pledged more than $347,000 to support United Way agencies throughout the River Region and the state of Alabama. This is the largest donation ever made by HMMA team members. The company contributed an additional $70,000 in corporate funding, which brings the total HMMA contribution to more than $417,000.
This year marks the 21st consecutive year that HMMA team members have pledged their money and support to the United Way. In total, since HMMA’s first United Way campaign, HMMA and its team members have donated more than $5.5 million to the United Ways of Alabama.
