Montgomery, AL — Leadership Montgomery, a longtime champion of cultivating and empowering leaders, is launching The Connector’s Table: Engage & Elevate – a groundbreaking platform to transform conversations into action. The Connector’s Table offers an open, welcoming space for Leadership Montgomery graduates, community members, and local organizations to learn what’s happening across the city and engage in meaningful transformation of Montgomery’s future.
Unlike traditional networking events, The Connector’s Table centers on key, positive community initiatives and connects the right people, resources, ideas, and actions. Each session features local organizations sharing their work, followed by facilitated discussion that encourages participants to offer a community perspective, exchange ideas, and explore ways to engage with and support local initiatives.
“The Connector’s Table creates space for people to listen, learn, and engage with one another around the work happening in our city,” said Susanne Tress, Board Chair of Leadership Montgomery. “It’s about strengthening connections and creating opportunities for shared understanding and collaboration.”
The Connector’s Table Presents: The Fun Side The first Connector’s Table will take place on Tuesday, February 17th from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at Montgomery Whitewater highlighting The Fun Side, spotlighting the places, programs, and people making Montgomery a city to play, explore, and enjoy. Tickets are $20. Light hors d’oeuvres and cash bar.
From river rapids to cultural rhythms, the session will feature conversation with leaders from Montgomery Whitewater, River Region Trails, Montgomery Parks & Recreation, and Cultural Affairs. Attendees will hear about current and upcoming offerings and engage in discussion about how recreation and culture continue to shape quality of life in Montgomery. Additional Connector’s Table sessions are planned throughout the year.
