Brittney McCurry Wingate, a seasoned Human Resources professional and native of Montgomery, AL, recently launched The Region: HR Consulting Firm – the first full-service human resource consulting firm designed for small businesses in the River Region.
\”There are several firms that offer parts of the HR process, such as recruitment and onboarding or employee training, but none of them offer a full slate of services that manage the entire HR process from beginning to end,\” Wingate explained. \”We want to partner with organizations to bridge the gap within the employee life cycle.\”
The Region: HR Consulting Firm offers various services in the six foundational areas of human resources: strategy, recruitment, onboarding, development and training, retainment, and evolution. The firm also provides a resume and interview preparatory course for students and job seekers.
Wingate earned her bachelor\’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Huntingdon College in 2011. She then obtained her Master of Human Resource Management from Troy University in 2016 and her Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) certification.
Wingate has led HR management in several positions, including on-premise manager for a Fortune 500 Recruiting and Staffing Company and team relations specialist for a Top Tier 1 Automotive Company. She was also the first African American HR Manager since 1906 for a local food and beverage company.
\”After leading HR in several corporate settings, I knew more could be done,\” she said. \”I wanted to create a unique approach to human resources that would allow small businesses to grow and prosper while protecting and enhancing their most valuable asset – their employees.\”
