Restaurant Week returns as River Region’s ultimate food and drink celebration

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The most flavorful time of the year is back—this time with a fresh new look and expanded reach. Now in its 11th year, Montgomery Restaurant Week has been reimagined as River Region Restaurant Week, a broader celebration of local flavor that spotlights culinary talent across the region. Organized by Experience Montgomery, this year’s campaign kicks off with the all-new Summer on the River Bar Trail from July 25–August 3, followed by Restaurant Week from August 7–16.

This annual campaign gives locals and visitors a delicious way to support the culinary and cocktail scenes across Montgomery and the River Region.

Summer on the River Bar Trail (July 25–August 3)

Raise a glass to summer! Participating bars will be shaking things up with signature seasonal cocktails crafted just for the trail. Guests are invited to sip, vote for their favorite, and be entered to win fun prize packs. The bar with the most votes will be crowned Best of the River Region Bar Trail just in time to kick off Restaurant Week.

River Region Restaurant Week (August 7–16)

From local fan favorites to chef-driven creative cuisines, Restaurant Week will spotlight specially priced lunch and dinner menus at locally owned favorites and culinary hot spots. Diners can vote for their favorite dishes right from the table using menu-linked QR codes. Each vote is a chance to win the grand prize filled with gift cards from across the region!

Vote for the Best. Eat for the Win.

During both events, you’ll have the power to vote for your favorite drinks and dishes—and help crown the Best of the Region. Winners will receive prizes and serious local bragging rights, while voters will be entered into drawings for prize packs given away at the end of the campaign. Your vote makes a difference!

“We’re excited to see Montgomery’s signature culinary campaign grow in a way that highlights even more of the incredible food and drink talent in our area,” said Megan Carlisle, Director of Marketing and Communications at Experience Montgomery. “While Montgomery remains at the heart of this effort, expanding the event allows us to showcase a broader range of local flavor and give people a fun, interactive way to support the restaurants, chefs, and bartenders who make this region so special.”
