TechMGM and Montgomery high school students to host AI Hackathon

Montgomery, AL – High school student groups will be coached by military and industry IT professionals to
compete in an artificial intelligence-focused hackathon competition on August 30th. The competition is held in conjunction with innovateDAFITC and is hosted by TechMGM.

Each high school student team will run and test artificial intelligence models using real data from local
industry and government stakeholders. An agile SCRUM master, design thinking coaches, AUM artificial
intelligence professors and EdFarm technology and tools experts will be on hand to provide guidance and
support.

A 90-second pitch presentation will be created and presented at the conclusion of the event to provide
recommendations to the judges on whether or not artificial intelligence is a good use case in helping to solve
the problem and assist in decision making for the client. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
