WETUMPKA, AL (May 17, 2023) – The Daniel Foundation of Alabama, a family foundation serving Alabama, announced good news to The Kelly Fitzpatrick Center for the Arts on April 26, 2023. The Daniel Foundation of Alabama approved The Kelly\’s grant request and will be awarding $25,000 for The Kelly\’s operational support.
Wetumpka and the River Region are lush with a thriving visual arts community. The Kelly has long dedicated itself to engaging, inspiring, and educating the public by promoting local and regional visual arts. Yet we would not be able to service the River Region visual arts community without the help of our staff and volunteers, the backbone of our nonprofit organization. This grant gives The Kelly the opportunity to support and expand its staffing needs, which is an often overlooked but massively important expenditure not often awarded by grantors.
