The YMCA of Greater Montgomery proudly announces the appointment of Leslie Sanders as its new Board Chair – the first woman to hold this position in the organization’s history. Mrs. Sanders’ leadership and dedication will undoubtedly propel the Y forward in its mission to serve the community.
Leslie Sanders is currently the Vice President of the Alabama Power Southern Division, overseeing external and community development activities across 19 counties in south-central Alabama, including Montgomery. A 37-year veteran of Alabama Power, Sanders has a distinguished career in business and community service.
