MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Faulkner University announced the promotions of two individuals to key roles in the university’s leadership in the new year.
Patrick Gregory was promoted to his new role as Chief Marketing Officer, effective January 1, 2023 in order to efficiently oversee all marketing efforts of the university. Bringing marketing under one umbrella will help Faulkner be more effective in its efforts by coordinating all campaigns and reporting through one office. He will report directly to Faulkner University President Mitch Henry and will retain his marketing staff.
“Pat brought decades of real-world advertising and marketing experience to Faulkner when he came to us in 2014, and has dedicated the last nine years to helping grow our adult and online programs as Director of University Marketing,” Henry said. “I am confident Pat and his team will lead Faulkner in marketing and public relations with diligence, innovation, and discernment.”
Faulkner Marketing, Public Relations and Communications serves the university and is ready to work with faculty, staff and advertising partners in a way that advances Faulkner University\’s mission. Kasey Oakley was promoted to Chief Information Officer effective January 1, 2023.
As Faulkner’s Chief Information Officer, Oakley is the senior leader responsible for the coordination of the information technology functions across the university. The CIO is charged with providing strategic and operational leadership throughout the enterprise in all aspects of information technology planning that advances the Faulkner mission and facilitates the operation of the university.
Oakley brings decades of IT experience with him into this role, with his most recent experience working in the Education IT realm, helping schools throughout the nation with their Internet and network infrastructure planning and funding. Oakley will be in charge of leading Faulkner’s current IT team and working with each department within the university to optimize technology and business functions.
“Under Kasey’s leadership, I know that our IT division will continue to ensure that our operations run smoothly, adopting
new technologies and approaches for our entire community to stay connected and engaged,” Henry said.
