September 24, 2024 – Montgomery, AL — Jackson Thornton, a certified public accounting and consulting firm headquartered in Montgomery, AL, is pleased to announce several promotions throughout their five Alabama offices.
Lindsey C. Goddard, based in the firm’s Montgomery office, was named a principal. Goddard has more than 10 years of experience working with tax clients, specializing in family-owned businesses with interrelated entities. She has also been instrumental in developing tax processes and managing the various software used by Jackson Thornton’s tax line of business.
In addition to being a CPA, Goddard is an IRS Enrolled Agent and holds professional membership in the National Association of Enrolled Agents. She also holds professional membership in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Goddard serves as an ambassador for the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce. She has completed RSM’s Breakthrough Leaders Institute program as well as the RSM Accelerators program. She received her BS and MBA in Accounting from Mississippi College.
In addition, several other team members were recently promoted. Amy Pugh and Holly Tucker were promoted to Senior Manager. Kristian Horton, Holly McKeown and David Norris were promoted to Manager. Brandon Baker, Bailey Beck, Summer Heath, Amanda Pettus, Tara Sides and Caroline Stewart were all promoted to Supervisor. Amie Deloach and Jenny Lewis were promoted to Senior Client Accountant and Zac Cottle was promoted to IT System Administrator. Stewart Thomas was promoted to Senior Technology Consultant with Jackson Thornton Technologies.
