Manufacture Alabama is pleased to announce the hiring of Kate Essig as the new Events and Communications Specialist. Essig, an Auburn University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations Communications and a minor in Political Science, brings a strong background in public relations and communications.
Her experience includes internships with Senator Marsha Blackburn and Senator Tommy Tuberville, where she developed skills in digital communication, social media management, and event planning. Essig also interned for Alabama Daily News, attended legislative hearings, and published multiple articles weekly.
At Auburn, she held leadership roles in The Oaks Agency, the student-run public relations agency, and managed social media for fab’rik. In her new role at Manufacture Alabama, Essig will be responsible for social media, content creation, media relations, event planning, and more.
