Montgomery, Ala. – The Montgomery Airport Authority is pleased to announce the appointment of Loyd Jenkins as the new Executive Director of Montgomery Regional Airport (MGM). Jenkins becomes the eighth Executive Director in the airport’s history, marking a significant milestone in the continued growth and leadership of the organization.

A respected professional in the aviation industry, Jenkins most recently served as Airport Police Chief at Montgomery Regional Airport, a role he has held since 2022. Jenkins recently earned his Certified Member (CM) designation—an internationally recognized credential that reflects a high level of expertise, leadership, and commitment to excellence in airport management.

A proud member of the Montgomery community, Jenkins brings not only industry knowledge but also a deep understanding of the region and its evolving transportation needs.
