Montgomery\’s 2023 State of the City

January 31, 2023 – Mayor Steven L. Reed delivered his 2023 State of the City Address on January 31st. He shared about Montgomery’s record year in 2022 and its economic development success with more than $1.7 billion invested in our community and 1,518 announced jobs. He also announced that Montgomery’s unemployment rate stands at 2.7% which is tied for the second lowest in a decade. Mayor Reed addressed these and other successes and shared his plans for the year ahead and solutions to longstanding challenges.
