How has the world of student recruitment shifted and how are you adapting?
As academic standards rise, our focus remains on fostering a strong community of students, families and faculty. At the same time, the school is committed to building a network that instills Christian values and character.
How do you manage the competition and make sure your message is heard?
We believe the best way to share the value of a Macon East education is through the voices of those who know us best—our families. Word-of-mouth referrals are our most powerful tool, as they reflect authentic experiences and trust in our mission. To strengthen our outreach, we highlight success stories, celebrate achievements and emphasize the unique advantages of being part of the Macon East family, ensuring our message reaches both current and prospective families in meaningful ways.
What new programs have you launched?
This year, Macon East Academy has introduced new initiatives to enhance student development and engagement. A new life skills elective has been added, focusing on practical, hands-on learning to equip students with valuable everyday competencies. Additionally, we’ve reinstated the Camelot Clubs for high school students, fostering school pride and healthy competition among groups.
How does Macon East Academy stand out?
Macon East Academy stands out by offering a diverse range of programs designed to inspire student success. From dual enrollment opportunities to a successful athletics program and extracurricular activities, we emphasize the development of character, teamwork and commitment. What truly defines us is our family-centered and faith-based environment, which creates a safe and supportive space for learning. Here, students find a sense of belonging and a strong community, fostering personal growth alongside academic achievement.
