- I’M EXCITED ABOUT the mission of Alabama Ag Credit. We are a true cooperative, and our goal is to provide sound, constructive credit and financial services to enhance the quality of life for people in the agricultural industry and rural Alabama. We live in a state where agriculture is the number one industry, which makes me feel even prouder about that mission, knowing how many people we touch.
- I’M PROUD OF the consistency we have had in returning money back to our borrowers each year. As a cooperative, we return part of our annual earnings to our customers. In 2023, that was over half of our profits, or $13.1 million, which circulated back into our local communities.
- YOU WOULD NEVER GUESS that I am an avid baseball fan! Since childhood, I feverishly watched each major league game I could, and now, my two boys also play baseball. Even on the hot, long tournament weekends, I still have a love for the game.
- OUR SECRET SAUCE is having employees who understand our mission. Many members of our team live in rural areas and work in the agricultural field after their day job.
