Main Street Vintage Market

As the owner of Main Street Vintage Market, Amy Floyd has created more than just a shopping destination. Her vision brings together vendors and visitors alike in a space that inspires creativity, connection and purpose. Beyond the carefully curated mix of vintage treasures, home décor and boutique finds, she offers a welcoming place where passion is encouraged, small businesses thrive and every visit feels like a little getaway.

I’M MOST INSPIRED BY: Passion and purpose, particularly passionately repurposed. Whether it’s an old broken dish turned beautiful mosaic art or a fresh passion lighting the face of a person whose paradigm has shifted toward vision for beauty from the broken pieces of his/her life, these are the things that ignite a spark in me.

THE RESOURCES THAT KEEP ME MOVING FORWARD: People in a similar journey, as well as those further down the road, are priceless additions to my momentum process.

CLIENTS OFTEN TELL ME THEY APPRECIATE: The environment and experience of a visit to our store. Many tell me that they have just stopped by on a bad day because our store is their happy place.

THE VALUES THAT GUIDE MY WORK ARE: Excellence, passion, beauty and an eternal perspective in light of the love of Jesus.

THIS YEAR, I’M MOST EXCITED ABOUT: The recent remodel and expansion of our Millbrook location, as well as winning “Best of” in such a wide range of categories from Boutique to Antique store.

I HOPE WOMEN IN BUSINESS, WHO ARE MOMS, WILL CONTINUE TO: Find balance in prioritizing family even at the cost of perfection in business. Most women in business that I have spoken with have a similar struggle with balancing family and work, and carry a lot of guilt about not being “good enough” in either role. I hope they will appreciate the process of growth and hold a healthy perspective of what is lasting.

IF I COULD GO BACK AND TELL MY YOUNGER SELF ONE THING, IT WOULD BE: Don’t despise small beginnings, setbacks or apparent failures. Understand that great things are being developed that can’t be seen during the challenge but will shine when the time is right.
