Kadie Agnew

Director of Marketing and Communications, Baptist Health

Kadie helps tell the incredible stories of Baptist Health’s team members and patients through tactical communications and marketing. She knows everyone has a unique story and tries to learn something new or meet someone new every day to better connect to her community.

When did you start your current job?

I began working at Baptist Health in 2017 as a Marketing Coordinator and moved into my current role in November 2021.

What is your main role at your company?

Overseeing all internal and external communications, public and media relations, digital media and tactical marketing execution for Baptist Health. In summary (and my favorite part), I have the privilege of helping tell the incredible stories of more than 5,000 team members and the patients we serve.

What is your number one career accomplishment or highlight?

Leading communication efforts for a healthcare organization during a global pandemic, while pregnant is not something I ever thought would be on my list of accomplishments, but it’s now happened twice. I learned more than I could have ever imagined and it wouldn’t have been possible without an amazing work family, prayers and perseverance!

How are you involved in your community?

Part of my favorite thing about working for Baptist Health is being able to serve our community indirectly and sometimes directly through the work we do daily. I’ve also had the privilege of serving on boards and in organizations that have allowed me to volunteer with both children and adults throughout the River Region. Participating in the Leadership Montgomery Torchbearers program expanded my involvement even further and highlighted the countless opportunities there are to give back to our community.

What is your key to success?

Perseverance was one of the first “five dollar” words I learned when I was just a little girl and I’ve strived to keep it in my vocabulary and as a way of life since then. While hard work goes a long way, I also rely heavily on my faith, family and friends to help make me the best version of myself. I try to learn something new or meet someone new every day. Everyone has a story or something to share that you will never know until you ask.
