What It Is
The Culinary Arts/Hospitality Management Program at Trenholm prepares graduates for virtually unlimited career opportunities that include executive chef, culinary instructor/administrator, food and restaurant critic, food and beverage director, equipment chef, banquet manager/chef, sous chef, research chef and food salesperson.
Why It\’s Cool
Upon completion, students will be prepared to enter the workforce in restaurants, healthcare institutions, commercial foodservice operations, hotel and lodging operations and entrepreneurial ventures. And it was recently one of 22 programs recognized nationwide and internationally by the American Culinary Federation Education Foundation Accrediting Commission (ACFEFAC) as an Exemplary Program.

“Students have the ability to be creative and innovative as they immerse themselves in their various endeavors,” said Brittany Foster, Program Coordinator Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management. “The education they receive provides them with a foundational springboard that allows them to compete in a fast paced, high energy-driven field.”

It’s waking the five senses,” said Trenholm culinary student Yajaira Sawyer. “The culinary arts program allows me to explore that creative side in a stimulating learning environment.
