A Culture of Strength. An Employer of Choice. What Sets Regions Bank Apart?

Banking is about more than dollars and cents.

It’s about making today’s financial goals tomorrow’s reality. It’s about leveraging financial insights, advice and guidance to benefit customers. And it’s about taking an active role in communities. Regions Bank operates with a clear mission. We seek to make life better for the people and places we serve.

Our company’s culture supports that mission and shapes our work here in the River Region. A positive and productive workplace culture is vital. It enables us to attract the best talent — and it positions our associates to deliver our best services to meet the needs of customers. Our culture aligns with the values of putting people first, doing what is right, embracing a team approach where everyone has an opportunity to contribute, building respect in the workplace and more. We are a better bank when we leverage our strengths to support our work.

While our internal culture is strong, many people across the River Region experience our culture through the work our associates do throughout the community. Through our support of the River Region United Way and its member organizations, Regions associates are giving back in many impactful ways. Associates are also hard at work providing thousands of volunteer hours every year, teaching financial education to students at Valiant Cross and Alabama State University, clients of Mercy House and many more people in academic or community settings, as well.

When tornadoes hit Selma and Autauga County earlier this year, both Regions Bank and the Regions Foundation, a non profit funded primarily by Regions Bank, helped lead the effort to jumpstart recovery. The Regions Foundation provided a series of grants totaling $75,000 to support Edmundite Mission in Selma, the Central Alabama Community Foundation serving people in Autauga County and longer-term needs. Separately, Regions Bank associates joined the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants to feed people in Selma, including volunteers helping with cleanup. Associates are Regions Bank’s most valuable resource, and we are always looking for new associates to join our team.

Regions has long been recognized for its workplace culture. Recent recognitions include:
