Montgomery, AL (February 20, 2023) – Trenholm State Community College and Miles College have formed a partnership that will provide a seamless transfer process for Trenholm State students to complete their bachelor’s degree. This partnership was formalized with a Memorandum of Understanding Signing Ceremony held today, Monday, February 20th at Trenholm State Community College- Patterson Site.
Dr. Kemba Chambers, President of Trenholm State Community College, stated “We are thrilled to have a new partnership with Miles College. The signing of this articulation agreement is historic and monumental, as this is our first articulation and partnership with Miles College. Having this articulation agreement in place will provide future educational pathways for our students to seamlessly transfer to Miles to complete their bachelor’s degree.” Through this partnership, Trenholm State students will have a seamless transfer process, opportunities for transfer scholarships, advising from Miles Colleges advisors, as well as access to other student services and athletic events.
“It’s imperative that we create pathways that allow all students access to the proper resources for success. This partnership between Trenholm State and Miles College will allow all students meeting the requirements access to a four-year college. We eagerly await the arrival of our Golden Bear students.” said Bobbie Knight, J.D., President of Miles College.
