When did you start your current job?

2014

What is your main role at your company?

Commercial Lender

What is your number one career accomplishment or highlight?

My success is defined by clients’ success. I invest in other people and help grow their businesses through financial guidance and support. I wouldn’t want to leave any particular client out so I would probably highlight my experience simultaneously completing the Alabama Banking School program as well as USAmeriBank’s Emerging Leader program. I finished Banking School having been selected as my Bank Simulations CEO and won the competition amongst simulated banks. It is like the culmination test in the last year among peers.

That same year I completed USAmeriBank’s Emerging Leader program which selected 10 participants from across the bank who were exposed to all areas of the bank and other companies. We were immersed with leaders at the bank and other industries to learn how to lead the bank in the future. I completed both of these courses while managing a large client portfolio and at the time my daughter was 4 years old. It was quite a bit to juggle.

How are you involved in your community?

Most of my involvement is through my oldest daughter’s activities; school, swim team, Girl Scouts, etc. I also serve on the Wynlakes HOA Board, the Family Guidance Center of Alabama Board and the Family Guidance Center of Alabama’s Investment Committee.

What is your key to success?

I’m hyper-focused on being organized.
